Modcon general contracting Delivers Fully-functional Isolation Rooms

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Modcon general contracting- a leading name in Design and Build industry- has recently delivered a fully-functional Screening Centre and Isolation Wards.

 

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold globally, there is a pressing need for exclusive and dedicated treatment for all the affected persons. “We believe that inventing clean, hygienic clinical rooms is our core obligation, and one which we totally perceive during this difficult period in the world. To this effect, we have studied, designed and built (Isolation) facilities that can cater for the rising need of dedicated treatment for the Coronavirus patients,” said Manoj Dharman, the Group Managing Director of Modcon general contracting.

 

According to Manoj, “Modcon general contracting nowhas the in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities to deliver this solution to hospitals and governments of any country within a short period of time.”

 

The launch and introduction of Modcon general contracting Isolation Wards will drastically enhance every hospital’s capability to serve its neighborhood throughout the present disaster. The rooms, which are prefabricated in the factory can be manufactured and delivered more quickly than traditional buildings.

 

Biji Alex – Modcon general contracting’s Production Manger, explained that “the recently delivered Screening Centre and Isolation Rooms with Built-Up-Area of 1451sqm, 21 Isolation rooms and 4 ICUs was completed within 30 days.”

 

“The solution is a pre-fabricated volumetric structure with high tech isolation ICU rooms (Class N), negative pressure isolation rooms with ante, pressure monitoring, 100% fresh air, dedicated FAHU per room, exhaust UV light and HEPA filtered treated air to be used in ICU,” he added.

 

Modcon general contracting has been providing turnkey solutions to the healthcare industry since its inception in 2005. The need for the recent invention was triggered by the company’s avowed aim of joining the rest of the world in fighting Covid-19.  These isolation rooms can be configured and deployed with individual client’s needs and specifications.
